Job Summary:

An Implementation Manager provides timely and efficient consulting, project management and process integration services to new and existing clients in order for them to successfully implement the Autotask product suite.  This job requires employees to combine their in-depth technical knowledge of the Autotask product suite with the demands of the IT Services Industry to ensure short term value add as well as long term customer retention.  Successful candidates will have a mix of technical skills, ability to deliver high value service, project management experience, teamwork and a do what it takes approach.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage new customer implementations so that the customer is up and running effectively in the shortest possible amount of time and serve as primary point of contact between client and Autotask throughout the entire implementation process
  • Manage multiple client projects while providing both high level and detailed business process consulting
  • Scope and Manage product proof-of-concepts with prospective customers, to effectively implement the Autotask products in a trial environment
  • Provide consulting and assistance to customers via phone, email, and onsite visits as required.
  • Define product specifications for customer installation
  • Respond to customer inquiries and direct the resolution of outstanding issues
  • Monitor customer utilization and adoption of the software throughout the implementation
  • Improve processes in the Implementation Management organization

Qualifications:

  • 3+  years in a technical role
  • Strong technical background/experience, including:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure
  • An understanding of Apple MacOS/LINUX operating system(s)
  • Some scripting skills would be advantageous; batch files, Bash script, VB Script, Powershell etc.
  • Knowledge of the IT service provider market is desirable
  • Experience with IT Service business operations
  • Experience determining customer requirements and creating functional specifications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to solve problems using a creative and logical mindset
  • Proven record of technical investigation and creating solutions to problems.
  • Previous experience working with endpoint/network management technologies highly advantageous
  • Have a working knowledge of competitor offerings
  • Prior presentation and/or technical training experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management (small to medium projects) or Business Analysis experience desirable
  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP, PSA software and markets highly desirable
  • Willing and able to travel as needed
