Autotask Opens Office in Manchester, UK
Autotask today announced the opening of a new office in Manchester, UK. This is the second UK office location for the company whose international headquarters are in Richmond. The Manchester location will allow for closer contact with customers in the region.
Autotask has again been named a Best Places to Work by the Albany Business Review based on an independent survey of employees. 36 companies in the region were named to the list. Autotask has been on the list every year since the Business Review began surveying local companies in 2003.

Autotask extends its MSP platform with file backup
Autotask made product unification a key thrust of its annual customer meeting, unveiling a new offering that expands its unified platform into automated file backup.
This week I've been in Miami spending some time with Autotask - a provider of web-based IT Services Management Software - at Autotask Community Live, its annual partner and customer event. For anyone unfamiliar with the industry, the business of delivering IT is growing all around the world, with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) leveraging new technologies to provide customers with unified solutions for every area of their business.
Cattini told the 900 attendees of Autotask Community Live 2016 that being acquired by private equity giant Vista Equity Partners in June 2014 has enabled Autotask to execute on a broader vision that it lacked the financial resources to carry out as a stand-alone company.
Autotask will introduce a new ticketing user interface early next year that will provide a service progression timeline and a checklist of sequential tasks for the technician.
